Kader Asmal Undergraduate Fellowship Program for African Students – Ireland
For students in particular locations on the African continent, Ireland is now providing a fully financed scholarship programme through the Kader Asmal Fellowship.
The scholarship is one of numerous grants provided by Ireland to students from other countries. For foreign students who want to advance their studies in Ireland, the Irish government, universities, and other organisations have fully financed scholarships.
The Kader Asmal Fellowship is specially designed for South African students with the intention of studying undergraduate programs in some of the higher institutions in Ireland.
The scholarship is specially designed for early career professionals with leadership qualities in South Africa and also has support for the sustainable development goals. They must also be in the position of supporting women’s development and participation in STEM.

The program is solely funded by the Irish Aid for South African students wishing to pursue postgraduate programs in Ireland for a period of ten to sixteen months. Many students with Bachelor’s degree as basic qualifications are considered for the scholarship program.
Candidates must be South African citizens, have a minimum of two years of relevant work experience, have a minimum GPA of 3.0, and have earned first- or second-class honours.
The programme offers additional perks in addition to tuition, such as monthly stipends, housing, airfare costs, insurance, and many other incidental costs.
