It’s Never Wrong For Artists To Have Song Writers – MC Burniton

Amoh Frimpong Hortis (MC Burniton), Ghanaian event MC and Hypeman, who doubles as an A & R and a music executive at Phoenix Entertainment, has mentioned that it’s never wrong to have a song writer as a musician.

Being interviewed by Mr Black, the popular show host of Kumasefie entertainment show on Opemsuo 104.7, Burniton emphatically stated that its never wrong should an artist have a songwriter because no one has a repository of knowledge.

Citing the American rapper, Kanye West and also the American singer – songwriter Beyonce as examples, he said music fans enjoy their songs so much but it will amaze you that most of their songs are written by people . “Sometimes you can check the information of a particular song and you could see that it wasn’t written by one person, and it doesn’t change anything” , he added.

According to the artist builder, sometimes songwriters do write songs but it’s the singer who can communicate the message of the song very well to the audience. He added that though it’s good to be multi talented, but viewing from the professional scope, artists are not required to do everything on their own.
