Artists Must Surround Themselves With People Who Have Influence In The Music Industry – Mc Burniton

Music Executive and Artists Repertoire (A&R) Amoh Frimpong Hortis known within the entertainment space as Hype man /MC Burniton, has In an interview with Opemsuo Radio 104.7 the official mouth piece of Manhyia and Ashanti Region told musicians to prepare themselves adequately and make right and necessary connections if they want to thrive in the music industry.

Speaking with Mr Black on the Kumasifie entertainment show, the Artist & Repertoire and events MC stated that the music creation process involves a lot and thus every artist have to make sure they are always surrounded with good people. Songwriters, producers, A & R’s, artists managers to mention few are expects who artists have around them.

Making an assertion with regards to getting good people on board as an artist, he said anytime musicians have their team working properly, mostly they thrive in the music industry. He added that artists most of the time are only supposed to record and perform their songs. Burniton again mentioned that though artists may not get expects at a go, regardless artists must associate with people who’s influence will have impact on their career.

According to him, artists must have their song writing on point and also find an A &R who will make sure they oversee the music style of artists and help artists find the right record producer, they also get songwriters for artists who do not write their own songs. He believes that as part of the music creation process, if artists are able to get all the necessary equipment’s, good producers in addition to their good songs, they will thrive in the music business.
