Simple Ways to split Mac Screen

If you work with multiple applications and windows at the same time, the constant switching between those windows can be frustrating.

Or maybe, depending on what you’re doing, you need to look in two windows at the same time.
For example, if you’re copying information from a document into a spreadsheet, it can be helpful to see these two windows side by side.

If you’re lucky enough to have space for configuration on two monitors, an option. If not, there may be a relatively easy way to fix this problem.

But since 2019, when Apple launched mac OS Catalina operating system, iOS users have had the option to display their screens in split-screen mode.

This means you can fill your screen with two apps without having to resize and drag your windows. If you are using Catalina or a later version, you can access this feature.

How to start split-screen on your Mac

At the top left of your window, look for the red, yellow, and green buttons. Hover over the green button or click and hold it: you’ll see a bunch of options to show your screen.

Click “Window Stack on the left of the screen” or “Door Stack” window on the right side of the screen” and your window will appear on the left or right side of your screen, respectively.

Any other windows you have open on your Mac will appear on the opposite side of the screen.

Click the window you want to display. You are now in split-screen mode. You can now easily switch between two windows in split-screen mode. If you want to open other apps in split view, open Mission Control with the Mission Control key, F3 on your keyboard, or the three-rectangular button on the Touch

Bar after the function keys are displayed, or by:

• Press Command and Up Arrow• Three- or four-finger swipe up on track pad

• Double-tap with two fingers on Magic Mouse. All other windows that you opened will appear. Just click it to switch between these windows and your split screen.
