KING PROMISE AND MR EAZI CO-SIGN OLIVETHEBOY

King Promise and Mr Eazi have shown some love to Afrobeats prodigy Olivetheboy by endorsing the hit single Goodsin from his new EP, Avana.

In a viral video taken over the weekend, the duo fervently jammed to the song repeatedly, while singing its catchy lyrics verbatim each time at The Republic Bar & Grill here in Accra.

Goodsin by Olivetheboy is arguably the most popular Ghanaian song at the minute. It has propelled the 20-year old sensation as the most streamed Ghanaian artiste of the first half of 2023, according to chartmetrics. Back in May, the song broke the internet after going viral following a dance challenge on TikTok. Even Nigeria’s Simi has jumped onto the wave.

And now uncomfirmed reports allege that King Promise and Mr Eazi have reached out to Olivetheboy to tease a potential allegiance with the prodigy, with another classic Afrobeats collaboration ostensibly in the works. The trio linking up on a song will be so cool, and if it’s imminent, then we are all for it.
