I Met My Husband In A Club Where I Used To Dance – Amy Newman.

The ace Ghanaian gospel musician in an interview that one of the things that get her happy was dancing. She opened up that she used to go to her brother’s club in Takoradi when she was growing up just to go dance to the tunes played.

Narrating her early days as a young girl, she used to go to the club, Amy Newman said, “I will take the whole dancing floor when we get to the club. Dancing is part of my talent. So it was there where my husband spotted me, he was also in the club that night.

“He saw me there but didn’t approach me. A week later he came to my house with his friend. So basically that is where it started. Amy Newman revealed this in an interview on TV XYZ.

The “ Tie Me Mmobrosu” singer, Amy Newman disclosed that her husband who had adored her from afar when she visited the club to dance told her he loves her and wants to marry her.

“He told me straight that he wanted to marry me”, she said.

Amy New revealed that she accepted his proposal and eventually got married at the age of 18. The gospel artist has been married for 40 years and has been in the music industry for over two decades.
