Africans Share Something Special Which Is Afrobeat, Regardless Of It’s Origin – Ghanastar.

Ghanaian-American singer and actor, Samuel Addoh, known very much as Ghanastar, has voiced his concerns the origin of Afrobeat, which he believes has it’s origin from West Africa, in Nigeria and Ghana.

Ghanastar sharing his thoughts with Opemsuo FM’s entertainment pundit MC Paa Saahene on social media, he however stated that Fela Kuti is the founder of Afrobeat and Nigerians having pushed the genre to this far.

The singer who recently released an Afrobeat song dubbed “Feel Da Vibez”, again mentioned that there might be a debate over who owns Afrobeat, but as an African he enjoys Afrobeat irrespective of it’s origin.

“I always thought to myself that the instruments that are being used are so fascinating.I had always enjoyed Afrobeat since childhood, anytime I happened to be in Ghana together with my parents, it was so wonderful how people enjoyed dancing to the tunes of Afrobeat.

Regardless of it’s origin, whether from Ghana or Nigeria, I believe Africa shares something special.
