In an interview with Cookie T on TV3 Newday, Lyrical Joe talks about he being one of the finest rappers Ghana have had.

Lyrical Joe doesn’t want it to beseem winning the ‘VGMA23’ rapper of the year, made people know him. In a vis-à-vis with Cookie T on TV3 Newday, LJ opened up on how Ghanaians had not realized how good he is in his space, people only woke up after he was crowned the ‘VGMA’ artistes of the year award.

He believes he has worked hard for this right from the inception of the 5th August series, and with consistent progression he’s been able to release 5th August 6th, this year.
None of my songs is less than a 4 minutes play, I think the award only made people realize am one of the finest artists in Ghana.
